NRS

NRS Northwest River Supplies

NRS was founded in 1972 by Bill Parks with an initial $2000 investment while he was still on the faculty of the University of Oregon. His vision was to provide quality gear to boaters without hassle or headache. Thanks to some hard work and lots of luck, NRS (which soon relocated to Moscow, Idaho) grew into a thriving worldwide supplier of equipment and apparel for all types of on-the-water fun. NRS continues to have a simple goal: to treat you, the customer, in the way they like to be treated.

Employee owned, in many ways the company feels like a family. We hope that you get a bit of this feeling when using their products. NRS was founded to provide quality equipment without wiping out your wallet. They didn’t get into this business to get rich or to satisfy investors — they’re here because they love the water and helping others enjoy it too.
