Returns / Exchanges:
We always take care of our customers! We’ll take back any product within 30 days of purchase for any reason, no problem. We can’t say that we won’t ask any questions; of course we will be curious as to why you changed your mind, so we can improve our offerings as well as our service. Basically we want to know what was not right so we can learn and get better albeit service or product offerings.
Should you need to return your product and it is in new condition we will refund you the full purchase price. If we had to ship the product and you are returning it because you changed your mind, well, we can’t refund you the shipping – it is only fair. It is also your responsibility to pay the return shipping fees that might be associated with returning the product. If you are returning a kayak please contact us as there might be re-stocking fees involved depending on the kayak and the condition.

If you don’t have your packing slip, simply include a detailed note as to what you’d like to have us do (a return, warranty replacement, or exchange) along with your full name, telephone number, e-mail address, and the original Kayak Shed five digit order number. Not including this note will result in a significant delay in processing.
The Kayak Shed does not cover the return shipping, and as such you can ship it back to us via any method you choose. We recommend using an insured method with tracking in case your shipment is lost in transit. The Kayak Shed is not responsible for a return or exchange that is lost by the carrier.
In the case of a refund. We typically are fast at refunding your order. It usually happens with in a day or two of us receiving your returned item. However it can take up to 10 days. If you sent something in for a refund and have not seen a credit to your account then please give us a call. 1-877–725-2925 If there is any confusion as to what you want we try to email you and call you. However sometimes emails are not getting through or phone numbers may have changed so please call us and check we have your right information. Thanks
How will you be refunded:
We will refund you via the same way you paid us. If for some reason your card has expired then please call us with your new card number. Please do not email sensitive card information.
Exchanges / Warranty:
If a product doesn’t fit correctly or if there is a warranty issue, you can send it back to us for an exchange. Please be aware that replacement sizes are not guaranteed to be in stock, and exchanges may result in a delay in processing. Shipping on most new orders is free, however we do not cover return shipping from you to us.
There is a $5 USD re-ship fee applied to all domestic exchanges once they have been processed. International customers are responsible for additional shipping costs on exchanges.
Warranty periods are typically 90 days from the date of purchase. Items returned for warranty after 90 days will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If it is a product defect we got your back as long as the product has not been abused or overused.
All returns on free shipping * will be charged a restocking fee of $5 USD. We do not accept returns for products that are clearly worn after 30 days unless it is a warranty issue. Returned product that is not cleaned will be assessed on a case by case basis.
