Rescue ClinicThis is for the beginner to intermediate kayaker that does not have any
prior experience rescuing people on the river. For anyone that wants to gain
hands-on experience rescuing swimmers and being rescued while swimming
rapids. You owe it to your paddling friends to be able to rescue them when
they get into trouble on the river! This class is not for certification.
On Land - 2 hrs - gear review, safety concepts, kayak construction, group dynamics.
On Water - 4hrs - throw bag work, reading whitewater, swimmer rescue, swimming rapids.
What to bring: Paddling gear, throw bag, life jacket, water and lunch.
