The Rain Shadow fulfills a fundamental need when afternoon clouds turn angry: waterproof/breathable protection. It’s compressible and light, with pit zips, an adjustable roll-down hood that’s helmet-compatible and a raised internal diffusion pattern that slides easily over layers and channels moisture away from the skin. Sealed seams draw a hard line between you and the wet weather. Soft, compressible perforated hook-and-loop wrist closures, lightweight water-resistant zippers, and internal and external pocketing add to the finer points.
