Returns / Exchanges:
We try to make it simple and easy! Please follow these steps:
1. Gather your unworn product and its original box or packaging
2. Please clean the product fully.
3. Complete the form on the back of your packing slip (this is the slip that came with your product) and be sure to indicate if it is an exchange or return
4. In a separate box, package the product in its original box and the return slip together
5. Send your return/exchange to the address at the bottom of this page
If you don't have your packing slip, simply include a detailed note as to what you'd like to have us do (a return, warranty replacement, or exchange) along with your full name, telephone number, e-mail address, and the original Kayak Shed five digit order number. Not including this note will result in a significant delay in processing.
The Kayak Shed does not cover the return shipping, and as such you can ship it back to us via any method you choose. We strongly recommend using an insured method with tracking in case your shipment is lost in transit. The Kayak Shed is not responsible for a return or exchange that is lost by the carrier.
Exchanges / Warranty:
If a product doesn't fit correctly or if there is a warranty issue, you can send it back to us for an exchange. Please be aware that replacement sizes are not guaranteed to be in stock, and exchanges may result in a delay in processing. Shipping on most new orders is free, however we do not cover return shipping from you to us.
There is a $5 USD re-ship fee applied to all domestic exchanges once they have been processed. International customers are responsible for additional shipping costs on exchanges.
Warranty periods are typically 90 days from the date of purchase. This includes Vibram FiveFingers, Chaco, and Teva products. Items returned for warranty after 90 days will not be processed unless the manufacturer offers a longer warranty period such as Yakima.
Returns:
All returns* will be charged a restocking fee of $5 USD. We do not accept returns for products that are clearly worn unless it is a warranty issue. Returned product that is not cleaned will be assessed on a case by case basis.
*On sale items, return is for store credit or exchange only.
